Kamchatka is located in the northeastern part of Russia and surrounded with the Okhotskoye Sea, the Beringovo Sea, and the Pacific Ocean. It’s famous for its volcanoes, breathtaking landscapes, picturesque views, unforgettable traveling, and unity with nature.
The main center is the city and port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Although it’s the same age as Saint-Petersburg you will get an impression that people have been living here for no more than 50 years. Until 1990 foreigners couldn’t set foot in Kamchatka and even Russians needed a special permit to come. Now it’s open to everyone.
Kamchatka is a popular place for ecotourism that is easily explained with the uniqueness of Kamchatka’s nature and resources. It offers a wide range of extreme activities: mountain climbing, rafting, heli-skiing, trekking, diving, photo safari and etc.
Don’t forget to try famous Kamchatka dishes which are usually made of local fish like salmon!
Arrival in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (PKC). Meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Free time.
Breakfast. Sea tour to Starichkov island. City tour of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. Transfer to the seaport. Sea boat trip along Avacha Bay to the Starichkov island. Fishing in the boat. Lunch aboard the boat. Visit to the Kamchatka Regional united museum. Dinner in a cafe. Return to hotel.
Breakfast. Trekking to the Dachnye Hot Springs (w/o bathing). (Please note: From June 18 to July 2 this day is dedicated to the excursion to the Vilyuchinsky Waterfall). Transfer to Mutnovskaya power station. Trekking to the thermal springs. Picnic-lunch. If the road conditions allow – walk to the waterfall located on Spokoiny stream. Return to hotel.
Breakfast. Today we will make a rafting tour with fishing on Bistraya river and take bathing at the Malkinskiye hot thermal springs. We will make a stop for fishing and lunch in the campground. Transfer to Malka village where you will make the bathing in the hot thermal springs. Return to the hotel.
Breakfast. Transfer to the Avacha volcano, where we will do a Trekking tour to the foot of the Avacha and Koryak volcanos, and a walk to the Camal mount (7 km=difference of altitude 300m). Lunch at the campground. Return to hotel.
Breakfast. Free time.
At an additional cost you can make:
– Helicopter tour of the Geysers valley
– Helicopter tour to Kurile Lake
– Ethnic-tour-acquaintance with the culture of Kamchatka’s indigenous people
Breakfast. Trip to the Pacific coast where you will make a walk along the Khalaktyrsky Beach. Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Lunch. After that you will visit the fish market and souvenirs shop. Return to hotel.
At an additional cost you can make: Trekking tour to the Vachkazhets mountain range, surfing, horseback riding, helicopter tours, ecc.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
