Sochi is located on the Black Sea coast and it’s the largest summer and winter resort of Russia. It has always attracted tourists with its warm and mild subtropical climate, beautiful beaches and palms, mountains, pristine forests and mineral springs, modern infrastructure and vibrant nightlife.
Sochi became famous worldwide after 2014 Winter Olympic Games and from “summer only” made itself a year-round resort that has received international status.
During your stay you will enjoy a walking tour through the city center and know the history of Sochi. You will visit the Riviera Park, the Olympic Park and the Sochi Authordom where the Formula 1 circuit is located, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the city from the Mount Akhun, you will learn about the tradition of tea drinking in Russia and taste the tea directly from the “samovar” in the Tea Houses and so much more.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Sochi. Arrival in Sochi. Transfer to the hotel and lunch. Walking tour through the city center of Sochi. You will visit the Riviera Park and see the mosaic portrait of Lenin, the train station, the harbor of the city and the Saint Michael’s Cathedral.
Breakfast. Visit to the Olympic Park – one of the most interesting places of the modern Sochi. It is thanks to this park that the largest resort city of Russia gained its global fame as the capital of the 2014 Olympic Games. Visit to the Sochi Autodrom. The Formula 1 circuit is located around the Olympic Park. You´ll be able to feel the atmosphere of the race! Professional guides will explain to you the history of the Formula 1 race and will take you to the most interesting places of the Russian speedway. Lunch in an “aul” (a type of fortified village typical for the Caucasus mountains). Visit to the Mount Akhun. On the top of the mountain, a 30-meter tower is installed. Here you’ll have an opportunity to enjoy a breathtaking view of the city and the mountains. Afterwards, visit to the Tea Houses, during which you will learn about the tradition of tea drinking in Russia, taste the tea directly from the “samovar” and traditional warm pastries with homemade jams, honey and dried fruits. A group of musicians dressed in traditional clothes will play for you some folkloric music. Return to the hotel.
Breakfast. Visit to the trout farm – it is the biggest fish farm in Russia and one of the biggest in Europe. It has 111 ponds; the number of species cultivated here is incredible. Visit to the Sky Park Bridge – the longest hanging bridge in the world (439 meters). Walking on this bridge on the altitude of 207 meters will bring you all kinds of sensations: from dizziness to delight! Visit to the Culture Ethnographic Center My Russia. This complex is a mini-version of Russia where different regions of the country are represented. The whole territory of 11 hectares is divided into sectors: Central Russia, Moscow, Suzdal, Krasnodar region, the Caucasus, the north of Russia, Saint Petersburg, the Urals, Kazan, Siberia, and Buryatia. Lunch. Walk along the Rosa Khutor complex. We can use the funicular to get to the altitude of 2320 meters (optional). Return to the hotel.
