Tour Details

This tour will take you right to the natural border between Europe and Asia, the city of Ekaterinburg that has a lot to tell about the last days of life and the death of the last Russian tsar – Nicolas II. This city was the last shelter for the tsar and his family, and right there, in Ganina Yama, were secretly buried their bodies.

You will then go to Perm and will see the Kungur ice cave which is one of the most popular attractions of the Urals. It is one of the largest gypsum caves in European Russia, the seventh longest gypsum cave in the world.

And then again, your travel experience will be enriched with a visit to the home town of Piotr Tchaikovsky, one of the great composers in the history of music, and his House-Museum. That’s not all. Your cultural path will continue with Yelabuga where you will visit the museums of Ivan Shishkin, the painter, of  Nadezhda Durova, the writer, and of Vladimir Behterev, the psychiatrist.

This is just a starter for one of the most interesting and beautiful places in Russia – the city of Kazan. You will admire its Kremlin, declared a World Heritage Site in 2000, which unites two religions –Orthodoxy and Islam.
